While our home textiles division still operates as Down Decor, our bulk down division now operates under a name that more clearly identifies the principles that serve as the foundation for our services, our products, and our purpose. Sustainable Down Source is a bulk down supplier with factories in the USA, Taiwan, and China, shipping over 1,000 metric tons of down & feather a year. We offer a wide range of goose and duck down and feathers. SDS offers recycled down that is certified to the Global Recycle Standard. Almost any fill quality of down can be treated with our proprietary DWR treatment: DownTek™ PFC-Free. SDS is certified to the Responsible Down Standard and can offer RDS certification for both our regular and DWR down.

Our Supply Chain
Having multiple washing and processing facilities located in Asia and North America enables us to dramatically shorten lead times by shipping freshly washed and processed down from geographically convenient locations. Less time in containers on ocean-going vessels preserves quality while minimizing cost. Equally important: we can greatly reduce the carbon footprint involved with the shipping process by reducing the transportation path.

Manufacturing supply chains heavily rely on resources, including natural and produced materials, and the invaluable people involved in production. We, at Sustainable Down Source (SDS), are committed to protecting these resources.
At SDS, we focus on conserving natural resources. Many of our factories recycle water in their production processes. We rigorously test discharged wastewater for harmful chemicals, ensuring the protection of waterways.
We conduct thorough chemical testing on our finished bulk down products, adhering to the ZDHC MRSL guidelines. This careful monitoring allows us to maintain a clean process and safeguard natural resources.
Crucial to our business, our down and feather materials are certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), and we offer recycled options in line with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), ensuring they meet your product needs, as well as the needs of our customers.
